In September 2023, Navarro ISD convened a committee of more than 35 students, parents, community members, faculty, and staff members to start developing the District’s Collaborative Vision 5-Year Plan, which in the end will outline the district’s goals and the key initiatives for achieving them. This committee will meet several more times between in September, October, and November 2023 and district administration will continue to facilitated an in-depth review and discussion with the assistance of members of the Collaborative Vision Committee to create recommendation that will be presented in the future to the Navarro ISD Board of Trustees who will finalize our Collaborative Vision Plans.
Together, members of the committee are creating a Graduate Profile and will define the district's priorities and objective in five main areas including:
Academic Success/Instruction and College, Career, Military Readiness (CCMR)
Employment Recruitment/Retention
Parent and Community Engagement
Facilities Growth/Planning and Safety/Security
Technology
