Taking Care of Navarro

Navarro Independent School District continues to review information and guidance available concerning the start of the 2020-2021 school year and COVID-19.  A complete plan of action has been developed based on TEA Guidance, CDC Guidelines and local health and safety procedures to ensure the safety of our students and community.  Navarro ISD families and community members are encouraged to review the proposed plan for the Return to School presented to the Navarro ISD Board of Trustees on Monday, July 20, 2020.  A slide show summary is included as well as the full documented plan of action.  The action plan is the preliminary plan for the Return to School.  Per TEA Guidelines, the final plan of action will be released one week prior to the start of the school year.  A Survey is also provided to assist the district in planning for students who return to school and those that choose to learn from home.  Please take a few moments to complete the survey.  The survey is a preliminary collection and families will not be required to commit to a learning environment until two weeks prior to these start of the school year.  Navarro ISD wishes to thank everyone who has already completed the survey and encourage other families to participate as we work to support our students and staff.
